On a more funnier note (because what is school without fun?) every Wednesday will be Costume Day for Elementary School children! I’m sure it will be hilarious for your little Sims to go around the school dressed like an hot dog, a bear, or even Yoda! Play ‘Hookie’ and skip school! Costume Day and Weekly Collection Huntīut it’s not all about school day and field trips: A and B grade Sims will also experience a Weekly Collection hunt where they will be sent to a random lot in order to pick up collectibles and take photos, and if your Sim has an A grade, he can even be sent to hidden lots like Forgotten Grotto and Granite Falls!
Also, Sims with higher grades will have the highest chance to get random field trips.
On the following days, random field trips and events will start happening, and make sure to have your little Sims work hard to get an A grade so they will have a chance to do a free field trip to Granite Falls! (this requires the Outdoor Retreat Game Pack.). The third day will always feature a field trip to a Library or Museum (teen Sims can also be sent to the Gym) and, just like the ordinary school day, each venues has its own four main goals to complete. Introduction day is probably going to be extended also to teenage Sims on their first day of high school. However, when they attend school for the first time, they will have an introduction day which is less focused on activities and more on getting to know classmates and making friends (in fact, your Sim has to complete each of the four goals only once).
Activities for the teenage Sims are still under development but they will most probably include skill building activities. Each of those interactions last for 15 minutes and your Sim will be given two goals at once you can choose from, which will change randomly between these four. While attending Elementary School, a typical day for you children will have four main goals: Draw on the activity table, Play the Violin,Practice Typing and Experiment at the Chemistry table. The mod also includes two venue types: Elementary School and High School, which you can download from the Gallery or create from scratch.īut, that’s not all! To spice things up a little bit, the pack includes also introduction days, field trips, daily tasks and even the possibility for your little mischievous Sims to play ‘Hookie’ while an hologram does the boring school works! Just like in the Get to Work expansion pack, (which is required in order to make it work) you will be asked to follow your child or teenage Sim to school when he’s leaving home.
